The idea of “home” has been at the forefront of my mind for as long as I can remember. I’m originally from New Jersey but with a father in the Air Force, we moved frequently. Each place we were transferred to I got to witness firsthand how my parents would pack and unpack all our belongings, paying special attention to pieces that would make the new space feel just a little more familiar, but also letting us recreate our rooms so that we kept it fresh and exciting! I didn’t know it at the time, but this would be the driving force to what would become Sarah Androvich Home Design.

The path to starting the business was a long one, working in public relations after graduating Ball State University, moving to Sacramento in 2006 and then spending over 10 years in escrow. After I married the love of my life in 2014 and our family grew with the addition of our 2 beautiful little girls, my passion for design was becoming too strong to ignore. However, becoming a mom transformed this desire to not only making a space feel like home, but to make it practical and affordable for everyone. Interior design, in the past, was a luxury that few families could afford, but this business strives to combine beauty, practicality and a reasonable budget to make everyone love their home!
